The Dietary Department of Fallon Medical Complex would like to welcome you to our facility. We strive to provide meals that are tasty, nutritionally balanced and individualized to meet your special dietary needs and specific like and dislikes.
Afternoon snacks, coffee and juice are provided. Special nourishments that provide additional nutrients and calories are provided to maintain body weight and nutrition for those who need a little extra. Trays of fresh fruit, meat and cheese, baked goods, or ice cream are provided as an evening treat.
The Dietary Department works with the Activities Department in planning special meals. In the past we have had special Valentine’s Day dinners with prime rib and all the trimmings. About once a month a meal is prepared in the resident’s dining room so you have an opportunity to watch, help cook or just sit back and smell the wonderful aroma of food as it is being prepared.
Menus for special meals are discussed at the Resident Council meeting. We welcome your ideas and even different favorite recipes for meals. Holidays are observed with traditional menus.
The staff of the Dietary Department includes experienced cooks, dietary aides, a dietary manager and a registered dietician. We are always open to your suggestions to enhance your dining experience.
