Letter of Appreciation

The following letter of appreciation was received in November 2022 at the administrative offices of Fallon Medical Complex. It is reprinted with permission from the sender.

Dear Mr. Espeland,

I wish to express my deepest gratitude for the high level of care of my son, received while in your facility, this past December.  He contracted Covid-19 and ended up being admitted to Fallon Medical Complex, with some very concerning symptoms.  On top of my being so far away, I was worried he would receive the standard protocol of very little treatment, as is the case in much of the country.  To my surprise, I was put on the phone with Dr. Sullivan and quickly assured that my son would receive the care that ultimately allowed him to be discharged just two days later.

But it didn’t stop there.  Dr. Sullivan called me the following 2 mornings to give an update on my son’s condition.  I just can’t tell you how much this meant to me.  My son and his family recently moved to Baker and I am now embarrassed to admit, I was wondering what type of medical care would be available in such a small town.  Now I see that the care there is absolutely the gold standard for what anyone could hope for.  Clearly, your staff is hyper focused on healing their patients.

I also had the pleasure of speaking to nurse Patrick, who was also very reassuring.  Thank you to Dr. Sullivan, nurse Patrick and the whole staff at Fallon Medical Complex.  You are making a difference in people’s lives and I thank each and every one of you.  You all truly practice your motto of “Friends Healing Friends.”

Sincerely,

P.F.
