FMC is currently implementing a new computer system that changes the statement process and how statements will look. However, we are not outsourcing our patient billing function, and no employees have lost their jobs due to the new system. We will still be handling all of our own insurance billing and collections, as well as responding to any patient account questions. With the switch to a new computer system, we are having to learn new ways of accessing patient account information, which we are still learning. We ask that you be patient with us during this time. Meanwhile, we are still very much capable of handling your billing questions, account balance questions, or any other questions you may have. It may just take us slightly longer than usual due to having to learn the new system.
